Camp Philosophy
Deep Heaven promotes heart centered connection at Burning Man. Our camp believes that people's beliefs about love and intimacy all too often prevent us from fully expressing and receiving love. Changing our beliefs, however, comes not from spoken messages preached, but from hands on personal and social experience lived. Thus, we offer to the Black Rock City community a series of "playshops" that present opportunities to experience directly new ways of perceiving, communicating, and being that promote authentic love and intimacy.

Who We Are
We are a community of teachers, leaders, lawyers, psychotherapists, workshop facilitators, artists, dancers, naturists, naturalists, designers (of all sorts of things), engineers, financial experts, world guides and life wizards dedicated to creating a healthy community by living in integrity, being honest with each other, treating each other with kindness and respect, and acknowledging the sovereignty of every individual. We are a consensus based camp holding the belief (through our experience) that group mind manifests the highest benefit for our community, and ultimately for the world.

Camp History
Deep Heaven has been known by that name since 2003, but we trace our camp roots back 10 years.
